Empty And Cleanse Your Colon Of Toxins With These 3 Ingredients

Do you sometimes feel heavy and bloated? What causes this feeling is the accumulation of toxins in the body. They cause bloating and promote fat storage in the body. Everything goes wrong and the body no longer feels at its best. This is often a sign that you must put the record straight and cleanse the body of all that dirt.

Toxins accumulate in the body over time due to poor diet, lack of physical activities, an accumulation of stress and an unhealthy lifestyle in general. The toxins may be responsible for several discomforts and diseases: obesity, digestive disorders, kidney problems, cardiovascular disease, skin problems, joint inflammation, etc.

During our life, the body can gain several pounds of toxins and few of us know how to get rid of them. Often, it is believed that resorting to proper nutrition is enough, or we would first go through a detox process before (re)adopting good habits. And detox can be done by eating the right foods that cleanse the body of waste. Here are the most effective foods.

It is no secret that fruits and vegetables are the first foods to eat when you want to cleanse the body of waste. Normally, the liver is in charge, but if one eats industrial and chemical foods, it is overwhelmed and cannot completely fulfill its role.

Eating fruits and vegetables indirectly helps the liver to cleanse the body. Not to mention all the vitamins, minerals and nutrients these foods provide. Some fruits are antioxidants and have healing powers, they are excellent to complete the action of the liver when cleaning the body.

Apples are a good example. They say, an apple a day keeps the doctor away. They are rich in soluble fiber, good to restore the intestinal flora. They also contain many antioxidants and minerals such as potassium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus.

They have a strong refreshing power since they contain over 80% water. Apple has the power to absorb the bad cholesterol, fight heart disease and colon cancer, according to a study published in 2008.

Flax seeds are well known for their detoxifying effect. Full of fiber, they improve intestinal transit and promote absorption of good nutrients. They reduce the risk of colon cancer due to their antioxidant power. They fight against cardiovascular disease, bad cholesterol and diabetes. It is also an inexhaustible source of Omega 3, great for the body.

Warning: the use of flax seed is not recommended for people with intestinal diverticula. They can penetrate in small excavations causing inflammation of the intestine. They are also not recommended in cases of illness linked to the thyroid.

Chia seeds are high in fiber, which help restore the intestinal flora and promote the proper functioning of the digestive system. They contain many nutrients that will cleanse the body of accumulated waste. Their cousins, the flax seeds, also contain omega-3 (17%), antioxidants and vitamins. These seeds are fighting against type 1 diabetes, weight gain, cardiovascular disorders and constipation.

Caution: Don't overuse it. According to the European Committee for Novel Foods and Processes, chia is an allergen that has not yet been clearly determined. It is therefore advisable not to be consumed by people who are allergic to flax or sesame seeds.
